Course Synopsis: This course will introduce the student to the concept of cultural diversity and the impact diversity has on the work activities of private investigators and the private security professional. The course examines how America developed into a diverse culture, details sources of cultural bias and personal prejudice, and provides strategies to identify and mitigate these factors in the performance of one's professional duties. The student will learn how to assess diverse populations, communicate with those populations, and prepare a culturally neutral report.
