Course Synopsis: In this course, the student will be provided with information that will help detect deception, how lying is a common response to fear, and how changes in a subject's behavior and appearance when asked questions may elicit deceptive responses. The course evaluates body language, physical and emotional responses, vocal intonations and sentence structure, eye movements, and unconscious responses. The student will gain insight into ways to more successfully detect deception in others in order to aid the course of an investigation.
