Course Synopsis: This course will teach you the basics of writing good reports, and why good report writing is an important skill to learn. You will study sample reports, including those regarding personal background investigations, and will learn the proper construction of reports, what details to include, the distinction between police reports and private reports, why surveillance and undercover operations reports are different, and crime scene investigation reports. You'll learn to make your reports not only professional, but also readable, and we'll show how "white space" and bullet-points can bring the message home.
