Course Synopsis: This course is
suitable for investigators intent on learning how
the forensic sciences are used in crime solving, and
specifically the role of forensic anthropology, which
is the application of anthropological knowledge and
techniques in a legal context. This course will discuss
how skeletal anatomy and biology aid the specialist
in the identification of human remains, how the cause
of death is determined, how the crime labs use this
information in crime investigations, and what role
the private investigator plays.
